Travel Kollekt is a rethink of the travel book. A digital platform that enables travelers who want to be responsible, even creating their personal travel guide. More enriching experiences and immersion in global tourism.

Travel Kollekt empowers people who desire to travel responsibly to organize their own travel research and print their completely, personal travel books. It's a new approach in travel publishing and our mission is to prove that planning, sustainable travel and serendipity can go hand in hand.

At Travel Kollekt we are bringing two worlds together in travel planning that hasn't happened before – digital and physical content in personallized travel books. Our mission for doing so is important. To create a better environment for travel planning and thinking/acting responsibly by doing research and making active, individual choices. We tackle the first barrier to sustainable behavior: a lack of information. Supporting a global movement of independent travellers with tools to be more conscious.

The conscious traveler is growing and there are global generation traits across age and classic demographic characteristics that make it relevant and important to create new tools for just travel. There is a global need to create solutions that cater to travelers' lack of concrete knowledge.

We also believe that a good metric for tourism (post COVID19) is the social and economic impact on local communities. This also means tourism in our own home country, region and city. As many of us are likely to travel shorter distances these coming months we would like to encourage everyone to focus their attention inwards.

Wonderful Copenhagen and other DMO's strategy for future tourism work with local stories, advice on sustainable behavior and potential over-tourism. But in practice, it is up to the individual traveler to acquire this knowledge prior to travel. Slow tourism and a desire for ""offline"" are also a reality for many.

We work actively with the SDG's and how we can identify our work within the different goals, currently we are focusing on 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production and 17 – Partnerships for the goals.

Our approach to how we can help heal destinations is to create awareness of locals and areas that have yes to be discussed in tourism and do it through personalization and recognizing that we can contribute to tourism destinations re-branding and travel confidence recovery.

Post COVID19 The United Nations World Travel Organization has also released their recommendations for recovery that call for citizens' platforms for local feedback, to ensure all voices are heard.

TK will solve these problems. We will become a ""Netflix for sustainable travel material"" and a digital notebook tool. It should be easy to organize and structure its research from many different sources (google, SoMe, friends, media, blogs) Our algorithm matches the individual's research with articles and knowledge about sustainable travel for the specific destination. Design, function and aesthetics are important factors + reverse publishing, data scraping, print on demand and machine learning.

Our goal is to create a better framework for travel planning with a whole new approach to publishing, disseminate concrete knowledge about sustainable behavior, and address the needs of a global target audience for deepening, curating and self-staging. Our solution touches on several of the world goals for prevention - both 3, 9, 12, 13 and 17. Our mission is through knowledge to create more enriching experiences so that sustainable travel and happiness are combined.
